Beyoncé is the highest earning female musician of this year! The world’s highest paid female musician Beyoncé dethroned Taylor Swift, according to Forbes.
Beyoncé’s albums “Lemonade” and “World Tour” are the hit albums which made her the highest-paid woman in Music in 2017, an annual list came out of Forbes on Monday that was enough to out-earn both Swift, last year’s highest earner who raked in the third-most money this year with $44 million, and Adele, who came in second with $69 million.
“Adele’s music appeals to listeners of all ages all over the world with her undeniably powerful, emotional vocal interpretations paired with timeless songwriting and production,” says multiplatinum singer-songwriter Skylar Grey. “No matter what genre someone generally subscribes to, it’s hard to find a music lover who doesn’t appreciate what she does.”
Last year, Beyoncé was the fifth highest-paid female musician with $54 million in Pre-tax income. While Britain’s Adele was the runner-up on Forbes’s list for the second year.
