The queen of Pashto folk music Zarsanga from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and her two sons were attacked by five men at her home in Aza Khel, Nowshera.
While talking to Phaser, Zarsanga’s son Shahzada, said that he had borrowed Rs. 500,000 from the rivals over some business terms. He repaid the debt but the rivals were asking for substantial interest on the amount.
He further added that they broke into the house, stole all households from the kitchen and then they tyrannized Shazada, his brother and his mother, Zarsanga.
The victims were sent to a local hospital and are still under treatment. Shahzada further mentioned that there were no enough beds to accommodate all three of them, so the Pashto music legend is sharing a hospital bed with her two sons.
The misery is that a singer who raised from a gipsy group, excelled as a queen of Pashto folklore and gave a life time to entertain this nation has to go through such financial crisis that put her and her family in danger.
