The Legendary singer Elton John has announced that he is all set to go on his final world tour.
Elton John will play a Dublin gig as part of his final world tour in 2019. Elton’s final farewell tour was revealed at a gala in New York where he said he planned to “go out with a bang” with a global tour, beginning this September 8, 2018 in U.S. They’ll be visiting Europe in April 2019, Asia in November 2019, South America and UK in March 2020, and with their final stop in North America 2021.
The legendary Musician/singer/composer said: “It’s time to come off the road so I can fully embrace the next important chapter of my life.”
Elton John remains one of the world’s most successful artists, both in recorded and in live music. He won many prestigious awards to add glory to his career, including blockbusters such as The Lion King, Billy Elliot and the upcoming adaption of The Devil Wears Prada.
The American business magazine Forbes also ranked him as the 26th highest earning celebrity, earning $60 million over the last year.
